Bold Innovation for Dramatic Power Savings

Utilizing a high efficiency power supply unit and WLED backlight technology, the Energy Star compliant G-Series typical average power consumption is less than half that of comparable flat panel monitors.
  • Ambient Light Sensor adjusts brightness to minimize power use, help increase user comfort.
  • Dynamic Dimming is designed to automatically decrease brightness when an image contains a high proportion of bright areas.
  • PowerNap can dim the monitor to minimum brightness level, or put it into Sleep mode, depending on which option the user prefers.
  • All of the above features can be turned on or off through the Dell Client ManagerTM 
  • Less than 0.15W standby power when in sleep mode


Slim Design, Environmentally Conscious Materials

To help reduce waste related to production and transportation, the G2410 and its compact packaging was designed to be exceedingly slim and light. It’s so slim that up to 25% more units fit in each shipping container1 and it weighs up to 21% less than the previous comparable Dell widescreen2.

It uses recycled plastic in its chassis and packaging and environmentally preferable materials in many components.
  • External chassis uses more than 25% post-consumer recycled materials
  • Arsenic-free glass and mercury-free LED backlight
  • Monitor and cables3 are PVC/BFR/CFR-free
  • No expanded polystyrene foam in packaging, instead utilizing highly recyclable corrugated cardboard.
